About Dr M.S.Panicker

Making a Difference in Ayurvedic Treatment

Dr. M. S. Panicker is a well-known Siddha, Marma and Ayurveda practitioner with a clinical experience of more than four decades. Armed with deep knowledge in Siddha and with a mind to serve people, he renders effective treatment to people approaching him with various ailments.

The offerings also include rejuvenation therapy that often forms part of medical tourism in Kerala.

Dr. Panicker secured his RIMP certification from Pondichery Sidha Medical College. Later he completed a course in Kayakalpa Yoga and Kundalini Meditation from Sri Vedathri Maharshi’s World Community Service Centre (WCSC).

In 1980, he gained the expertise to treat people according to the traditional practices prescribed in tenets of Sidha and Ayurveda. After that, he acquired knowledge in Marma Chikitsa, Kalari Marma Chikitsa, Dhyanam, and Kayakalpa yogam.

Panicker later started Sree Nandi Arya Vaidhyasala, a Siddha hospital at Namakkal in Tamil Nadu. The hospital functioned for about 17 years till 2000 and during this period he could successfully treat various diseases including polio found in children and rheumatism-related ailments seen in elderly people.

Next, Dr. Panicker shifted his hospital to an ideal spot along the seashore of Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram. Since 2004, the center has been functioning under the name Mruthyunjayam Siddha Ayurveda Vaidyasala.

Apart from Indians, hundreds from different parts of the world have found cures for their ailments in the Ayurvedic treatment here.

Dr. Panicker has been able to bring relief to the diseased not only with the help of natural medicines but also through yoga and meditation.

Strictly following the ‘dharma’ of treatment, the physician administers treatment with a strong optimism that the patient will either get cured of the disease or find relief in the treatment given here. Importance is also given to Kaya Chikitsa and Kalarimarma Chikitsa.

“We believe that Ayurvedic treatments respond well when the patient is relaxed and in a pleasant state of mind. Kerala’s equable climate, lush greenery, an abundance of forests which are a treasure-trove of medicinal plants, and the two monsoons create a congenial atmosphere for Panchakarma and rejuvenation therapies. In fact, Kerala is the only state in India which practices Ayurveda in its traditional and original form.”
